The CoolStar water-cooled air caloric offers lots of possibilities for caloric tests in the vestibular stimulation: easy to use, high temperature regulation precision and can reach a wide temperature range.
CoolStar has an otoscope handle with integrated light. The otoscope handle allows use of disposable speculum for better hygiene. It also has a LED light, which lights the eardrum without obstructing the air flow and the visibility of the user. The visibility is also improved with a magnifying glass that is integrated in the otoscope handle.
CoolStar and its unique heat exchanger warms or cools the air from 10 to 47°C without influence of the ambient air temperature. CoolStar is the only solution for high ambient temperatures or for testing rooms not equipped by a water inlet and sink. Manufactured by Difra Instrumentation.
